Vacancy- Head of Recreational Gymnastics 

An immediate position has become available in our extremely successful recreational gymnastics section of the academy.

Job Title – Gymnastics Coordinator – Recreational Gymnastics

Reporting to Chief Executive

Weekly Hours  37.5

Salary Band  Band D £14,000 to £21,000

 Job Purpose

The purpose of this role is to coach recreational gymnasts and work in partnership with the local community to implement/deliver local initiatives that will increase the quality of provision and the participation levels of gymnastics. Will contribute to the delivery of the CNGA Development Plan, ensuring that their work is aligned to CNGA Development Goals.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

– Building up an effective and robust network of contacts within the catchment area to aid recruitment

– Building up an effective and robust network of volunteers to support delivery of initiatives

– Plan and organize coaching sessions, courses, events, open days, promote reward schemes. Set up taster sessions for recreational gymnasts

– Manage and support recreational Coaches and volunteers

– Undertake personal and professional development in order to further knowledge and experience

– Make suggestions/recommendations to support development of gymnastics and the perception of CNGA within the catchment area

– Analyse and resolve problems/issues

– Comply with health and safety policy and guidelines at all times

– Comply with BG Safeguarding guidelines at all times

– Provide evidence to CEO on mutually agreed timescales

– Undertake other appropriate duties as assigned

National grades 4 3 2 1 finals 21st 22nd May 2016, Fenton Manor Sports Centre, Stoke. 

National 4. You looked amazing out there. Jamie-leigh 7th aa 1st on beam 3rd on range. Sophie 8th aa 5th on range and 6th on bars (without training for a week) and Zoe 30th with 2 falls. And 6th as a team! Well done, North.
