City of Newcastle gymnastics Academy boys represented the NORTH region at the 2013 Club Development Grades 2013 on the 1^st & 2^nd November at GMAC Alexander Stadium, home to City of Birmingham Gymnastics Club. 8 boys represented the region along with 4 coaches (Jill Tan, Julie Youngman, Matthew O’Hara & Mykhaylo Galyuk) from CNGA.

Friday afternoon seen our level 1 & level 2 gymnasts compete with some fantastic results. In the Level 1 Freddy Nelson scored 60.85 and finished joint 16^th. George Ross scored 60.55 and finished 20^th. Kurtis Rutter finished 32^nd with a score of 59.7. Mackensie Horton finished 48^th with a score of 58.7. These results were brilliant for the boys who have worked extremely hard all year.

In the Level 2, Martin Bland represented the North Region and scored a total of 55.25 finishing 55^th out of 60.

In the Evening time Harry Ross performed out of his skin to score a final score of 63.2, securing a bronze medal and a place on the reward camp at Lilleshall. Harry has got a busy schedule before Xmas representing City of Newcastle Gymnastics Academy at the under 14 British Championships, Luxembourg Christmas Cup and spending a week at Lilleshall training with the likes of Dan Keatings and Dan Purvis.

On the Saturday in the Level 3 category the North Region was represented by Seth Collin, he scored a 55.47 and finished 37^th from 46. Also on Saturday seen Billy Hibbert take to the stage in the Level 4 Club Performance Grades, Billy performed extremely well on all the apparatus and scored 61.2 and finished 17^th out of 52 gymnasts.
