Carl Chapman Trust

The Carl Chapman Memorial Trust makes grants to gymnasts and gymnastics coaches who are members of BG affiliated clubs in the North East of England. 

The Trust was established in memory of a wonderful child, Carl Chapman (1987-1996), son of Karen and Ian Chapman, brother of Faye Chapman.

Grants are considered for the following:

  • Equipment Grants (maximum £175, no re-applications within 2 years)
  • Special Sporting Events (maximum £300, no re-applications within 1 year)
  • Coaching Training Course grants (maximum £175, no re-applications within 1 year)
  • International Sports Grants (maximum £300, no re-applications within 1 year)
  • Other gymnastics related (maximum £175, no re-applications within 1 year)

Applications will be considered by Trustees on a regular basis.

We became a registered charity (No 1115409) in January 2008.
