Covid-19 Procedures and Regulations

As you can imagine due to Covid 19 there has been quite a few changes put in place to make sure everyone has an enjoyable and safe return to gymnastics.

Most of the changes are from the result of the ‘Opening the Doors at CNGA - Recreational’ Survey, thank you everyone who was able to take part in this.

We have taken the results of your survey seriously and have worked hard to get our facility ready, putting in place everything that was highlighted as important to you and your family - Deep cleaning, Social distancing, Signage, PPE, Sanitation plan of action etc. to minimise the risks of Covid19 as much as possible.

The first change you will notice is that when you arrive whether it is by car or by foot you will use the Side Gymnastics entrance, Parents may accompany their child to the side gate where a CNGA member of staff will be waiting to take their temperature, before entering the gym. Unfortunately, no parent will be allowed past this point, you will need to return back to your car, go for a coffee or read a book…

If the side car park is full please park in the main car park and walk around to the side entrance as no one will be allowed in the main sports centre entrance.

We will have your contact details if we need to contact you in case of an emergency.  Please note if your child is under 8 years old you must stay in the car park.

Could all gymnasts age 11 or over please wear a face covering in all communal areas eg: reception area, foyer and toilets.

Due to the Government's guidelines our changing rooms are closed, therefore, we are asking children to come ready for gymnastics, wearing Flip flops or Sliders and bring with them a filled water bottle.  Please ensure the gymnasts have their hair tied back, no jewellery and no crop tops.

PLEASE NOTE AS FROM MONDAY 5TH OCTOBER THE COLLECTION POINT AFTER THE CLASS WILL NOW BE THE SPORTS CENTRE ENTRANCE AT THE FRONT OF THE GYM RATHER THAN THE SIDE CAR PARK BUT ENTRANCE IS STILL THE SIDE CAR PARK.
